The pandemic was devastating for children's mental health: 20% of children and adolescents now have anxiety and 25% have depression (Racine et al. (2021)) and I responded by making videos that teach 4-7 year old children to recognize, understand, and use all of their feelings. A previous entrepreneurial project was Puzzli, a smart toy based on alphabet letters where children play with letters as physical objects, learn the principle of the alphabet, and in some cases even teach themselves to write their names before 4 years of age.
