Biography

I'm a PhD. candidate in the department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University. I'm currently working with Professor Maria Chudvnosky in structural graph theory. I'm in the job market for the academic year 2013-2014. Before coming to Columbia, I studied in Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) where I graduated with a Bachelor's in Mathematics in 2005 and a Master's in Mathematical Engineering in 2007. I did my Master's thesis under the direction of Professor Dominique de Werra in graph coloring heuristics. In 2007-2008, I worked as a Scientific Fellow at EPFL.
My primary research interests lie in graphs theory, heuristics and optimization.
