CNT does not confine the ~500 keV positrons from commercial positron sources (e.g. Na-22) - confinement limited to 5 keV
Much less moderation is needed than in the Penning trap - much higher trapping efficiency should be possible
A follow-on experiment to CNT with B=1 T and a=10 cm would confine positrons in the 0.5 MeV range, thus trapping essentially all positrons from radioactive sources. If we can get them in...
