I am a bioinformatics analyst working jointly at the JP Sulzberger Columbia Genome Center, where I am involved in upgrading and maintaining the RNA-seq analysis pipeline. Prior to joining the Shen Lab I worked at the Boston University Bioinformatics Hub, developing a novel algorithm to quantify genetic expression correlation from mRNA-Seq data and discovering patterns which map to topologically associated domains (TADs). I am currently interested in exploring novel methodologies and disease-related genetic discovery using genome sequencing and single cell technologies.
