Biography

Amanda McAdam is an M.A. candidate within Columbia's Political Science Department. She graduated in 2006 with her B.A. in Political Science, emphasis in International Relations from the University of California in Santa Barbara. Prior to arriving in New York, she and her husband lived in Los Angeles, where she worked for four years at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in retail brokerage. Her interests include international political economy with respect to regime stability and market volatility, national debt and security issues, as well as emerging markets in East Asia.
