Biography
Erica Borghard is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University, where she is specializing in International Relations. Her research interests include the processes and dynamics of military innovation, and international conflict and crisis bargaining. Erica has co-authored a paper with Professor Jack Snyder, "The Cost of Empty Threats: A Penny, Not a Pound," on the role of domestic political audience costs in international crises. Erica received her B.A. in Political Science from Columbia College, Columbia University in 2007.
