Biography
Johannes Hemker has been a Ph.D. student at Columbia since 2010. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Bayreuth and was a visiting student at Université Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Columbia University. His research interests include political economy (public finance, social policy, regulation) and applied statistical methods.
