Biography
Costantino Pischedda is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University. He previously worked as research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and at the World Bank's Development Economics Research Group in Washington, DC. He holds an MA in Strategic Studies from the Johns Hopkins' School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Research interests: civil war conduct (warfare type and targeting of civilians); alliances among rebel groups and ethnic defection; suicide terrorism; partition; strategies of humanitarian intervention.
