Why I am running:
Simply put, I love Columbia. I love the classes I've taken, the people I've met, the moments I've shared the people I met... This is the sentiment I want to share with every other Columbia student, and it really pains me that not everyone has been as satisfied with their Columbia experience as I have. My experience in various campus organization, especially as a representative on the largest governing board at Columbia (ABC), has allowed me to see a lot of the inefficiencies and injustices in the current way our student life fees are spent. Armed with this knowledge and a commitment to responsible and transparent spending practices, I think I can help solve many of the problems in this small, but focused and significant portion of Columbia student life. I invite you to think about your discontents, weigh the issues, express your opinons, and take charge in helping us drive Columbia forward.
