Why I am running:
I came to Columbia in the fall of 2009 as a transfer student from the University of Michigan. Riding the high of an exciting freshman year in Ann Arbor, I didn't know what to expect from the people or the campus at Columbia. In my two years here, what I have realized is that there is so much potential to improve the student experience at Columbia. And CU students want to help accomplish this goal. They want more money for student group events and an easier, more efficient university system online. Students want to build a REAL sense of community here, and I want nothing more than to be a part of that. The progress in student goverment over the last few years has been great, but we at CU CHARGE believe that our energy and ideas can really drive Columbia forward.
