The Taiwan Navy gives honors to commissioned officers yearly. I received the honor because of my marvellous performance in annual maneuver in 2011 spring.

My paper "Building Multi-modal Relational Graphs for Multimedia Retrieval" was nominated as best paper candidate after it was published in International Journal of Multimedia Data Engineering and Management (IJMDEM) in 2011.
President Award
The Naval Technical School offers President Award for top 5% students in the class. I received the honor in 2010 because my final grade was ranked 1st among all students.
Scholarship of Taiwan Provincial Farmers' Association (7 times)
The Taiwan Provincial Farmers' Association offers scholarships to undergraduate student members every semester whose academic performances satisfy the given criteria. I got the membership because my mother is a farmer. I received the scholarship 7 times (i.e. every except the last semester) in my undergraduate life (2006-2010).
Candidate of Taiwan Physics Olympiad Representatives
The National Taiwan Normal University holds competition annually to select proper students for International Physics Olympiad Representative. I was ranked top 30 among all students in Taiwan.

The Nine-Nine Cultural and Educational Foundation holds the Taiwan Regions Mathematics League (TRML) every year. My team received the silver medal in 2005.

The Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Republic of China holds the National Senior High School Mechanics Competition every year. I received the bronze medal in 2005.
