Research Program
In the Columbia Couples Lab we study dyadic processes, especially those that are evoked when dyad members are facing stressful experiences.
We use intensive repeated-measures designs to study dyad members and their interactions, e.g., daily diary studies, behavioral studies of interaction, psychophysiology studies of stress and support.
We use both lab-based experimental studies and naturalistic, longitudinal studies of daily experiences.
Finally, we use statistical models that are suitable for the study of change processes in individuals and dyads. |
