Adaptive Synthesis Workshops are meetings that bring together the full spectrum of scientists studying the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem function. Answering these fundamental questions requires merging concepts from ecosystem and community ecology. The agenda of each meeting is formed by an iterative process that incorporates ideas generated within previous workshops with feedback from both within the BioMERGE network and other interested parties.
