  Call for Scores 2005
We invite scores of completed compositions from any person engaged in graduate music study. The selected compositions will be performed by members of counter)induction, a New York-area new music ensemble, during an evening concert on January 28, 2005.

Please adhere to the following guidelines for submitting scores:
    • Instrumentation may include any combination of clarinet, piano, violin, viola, and cello.
    • A maximum of three quintets and/or quartets will be programmed for the concert;
      the remaining compositions selected will employ smaller forces (solo, duo, trio).
    • Only one work per composer may be submitted.
    • Compositions should be no more than 15 minutes in duration.

All submissions must include the following materials:
              1. A cover letter including:
                                                          • title of the submitted work
                                                          • instrumentation (from the list above)
                                                          • duration of the work
                                                          • The composer's contact information and institutional affiliation
              2. One copy of the score (please omit composer's name from the score).

A CD recording may also be included, if available.

Submissions must be postmarked by October 15, 2004. The final selection of works for inclusion on the concert program will be determined by counter)induction. Composers will be notified of the ensemble's decision in mid-November.
