CU-CRN Administration

The Network's management and coordination consists of three groups:  The Faculty Advisory Board, The Executive Committee and the Network Staff.

Faculty Advisory Committee

The Faculty Advisory Committee was formed in January 2000 by Lisa Anderson, Dean of the School of International..  The committee is composed of faculty from various schools and departments at Columbia University and meets once a semester with the Network's Executive committee to consult on strategy.  Chairmanship of the committee will rotate every three years (next rotation - September 2003).

Richard Betts, Director, Institute for War and Peace Studies and Professor of Political Science, School of International and Public Affairs.

 

Joel Brockner, Professor of Business, Graduate School of Business, Columbia University.

 

Morton Deutsch, Professor Emeritus, International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution, Teachers College.

 

Larry Heuer, Associate Professor of Psychology, Barnard College.

 

Betty Reardon, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Education and Coordinator Peace Education Program, Teachers College.

 

Jack Snyder, Professor, Department of Political Science, School of International and Public Affairs.

 

Executive Committee

The CU-CRN Executive Committee is currently composed of three Network participants representing three schools at Columbia University and is advised by the Faculty Advisory Committee.  The committee has a Chairperson who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Network activities performed by the Network Staff.  Chairmanship of the committee will rotate every three years (next rotation - September 2003).

Andrea Bartoli, (CU-CRN Executive Committee Chairperson) Senior Research Scholar and Director of the International Conflict Resolution Program, School of International and Public Affairs.

Peter T. Coleman, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Education and Director of International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution, Teachers College.

Carol Liebman, Clinical Professor of Law and Director of Mediation Clinic, Law School. 

 

Network Staff 

The Network's daily activities are managed and coordinated by the following staff.
