The Columbia University Dance Marathon

CUDM is an annual 28-hour dance marathon benefiting the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. It is dedicated to raising money for the Foundation, but also to raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and the Foundation's work through a dynamic and culturally diverse celebration of life.

Dancers pledge to stay on their feet for 28 hours and raise money for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. CUDM is a monumental event—created with and sustained by love, and serving to connect us to our bodies in a way that reminds us of what we are capable. Awareness of our bodies allows us to both recognize and push the limits. Dancing is an act of solidarity with those who suffer, but more importantly a celebration of our potential.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation seeks to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs.
