Dear members and friends of KGSA,
This is Minsun Kim, and it is my honor to serve you as the 44th president at the Korean
Graduate Students Association at Columbia University. Columbia KGSA has the longest
history of serving Korean students amongst any Ivy League schools and we are currently
consisted of over 700 Korean students.
I understand that one of the challenges we face as a student organization today is the
lack of our engagement with non-Koreans and students from other universities. It is my
goal to lead this association, as the young generation of Koreans, to promote excellence
in both Korean legacy and contemporary culture in the city of New York.
I am pleased to announce that we have a strong and passionate group of board members
this year. The board this year consists of students from diverse academic backgrounds at the
Columbia University Graduate Schools. We are also excited to have Jinny Park, the Vice
President of Asian Health Communications and an MPH candidate of Mailman School of
Public Health, as the senior adviser of KGSA. You can view the board members and
their bios by clicking the following link.

As a new team of leaders, we are determined to do whatever it takes to bring greater
benefits to the members of KGSA.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Minsun Kim
