Linkback Citations
If the contributing institution
has a local presentation of
APIS materials, e.g., one
with more detail than the
APIS version, a "linkback
citation" may be provided
in the metadata record pointing
directly to the corresponding
item-level presentation. If
present, these links should
be URNs rather than URLs,
so they will persist over
time without needing maintenance.
E.g., for Michigan "michigan.apis.1760"
