The girls raised thousands of dollars with this stunt. It was a very successful function.

Yes. It was great, but you can't do it twice. Somebody tried it again, and it didn't work the second time. It was just the novelty that put it over.
You're not going to get the people to do the paintings a second time;
We have some of the paintings to this day. I bought John O'Hara's, and I bought Deems Taylor's. They hung for quite a while. I guess that we've put them all aside now. They were amateur dabs, but it was fun.
