for decoration. I'm not moved by them the way I am by good Greek sculpture or even Roman sculpture.
How much time do you spend with art?
Well, in the summer I spend a lot of time going to dealers in London and Paris, and in the winter I go to see dealers and I go to museums, and I see many people who are interested in art and who spend a lot of time and thought about it, like Mrs. R and Dr. Frankfurter. And President Kennedy has recently gotten interested in collecting Greek sculpture and the last interview I had with him we took care of our business very fast and then began to discuss Greek sculpture, what he and I were getting.
So, that's the art.
Well, how large is the collection? I've never seen anything which says the number of pictures in your collection.
Oh, I don't know. I suppose I have a hundred important paintings or watercolors, guaches of some importance at least. I really don't know. I have a very good collection of service plates of the best English makes of the late 18th Century and of and of late 18th Century and early 19th Century french porcelain. That's another thing I have. I have some fairly good Battersee boxes, and I do collect Greek coins, but
