Lasker:

Wherever. And he is already, has been the main medical consultant for a great medical center in Iran, which probably is not working at the present time, and a very fine center in Saudi Arabia. At Riyadh.

Q:

That's very interesting too. What about China?

Lasker:

Oh, American doctors are going, all leaders of American medicine either have been or are going to visit China, and the Chinese are coming back. There's very great sympathetic feeling between the Chinese and American doctors.

Q:

Is there any optimism that they can supply us with some new interesting data, other than their acupuncture?

Lasker:

Well, they say that some of the herbal medicines may do things we don't understand and we should go into it, but I don't know who is actually doing it. You asked me something else?

Q:

I was going to ask you to bring me up to date on tape on PALA.

Lasker:

Oh, the drug PALA. The drug PALA so far has been a disappointment, which is very sad, because they had great hopes for it, as it was non-toxic and effective in animals.

Q:

But they're still working?

Lasker:

Oh, they are working on other chemicals. But now,
