of all this, I don't know. In some areas, they've been quite expeditious and have gotten plans and requests for money to make more detailed plans in quite quickly. So I'd say there are about 30.

Q:

It might be effective in a city like Chicago for the political leader to get back of it.

Lasker:

Yes. Well, I hope it will.

Q:

It might cut through a lot of red tape.

Lasker:

I hope so. I hope so. I'll tell you about that a little bit later, because I want to hear about it from a friend who's on the panel.

So I have hopes that this will gradually spread, that a year from now we'll be having 100 million dollars instead of 45 million, and that from then on it may grow into a very, very important program, because there's no doubt that these are the major things that people fear and suffer from, and they just haven't been energetically attacked.

Q:

From your point of view, it would be much better to keep the title as it was.

Lasker:

Oh, much better.

Q:

Because it makes it more graphic.
