pleasures I've ever had. Senator Fulbright and his friends. about 15 of them, have urged a law, a non-partisan piece of legislation, of course doing just what I thought they would do. The release states that Senator Fulbright, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and 15 other Senators have Just taken a most significant step in implementing the recommendations of the Committee on Population by introducing legislation to authorize 150 million over the next three years. They just cut in half to show how prudent they are. See, we're wild spenders but they're prudent, they cut us down. If I'd said 50 million they would have cut that in half, you. know. So at any rate, 150 million for three years for voluntary family planning programs abroad. Then the release goes on to say, “It was this committee which first recommended the White House Conference in December, 65, that 100 million a year for three years be made available to assist other countries with their population problems.”

The people in the Senate who are sponsoring this are Case, Clark, Dominick, Gruening, Hart, Hatfield, Hickenlooper, McGee, Metcalf, Morse, Moss, Frank Moss, Percy, Tidings, Yarborough and Young.

Q:

What's the date of that release?
