Series II, Interview # 4

Interviewee: Mrs. Mary Lasker (Mrs. Albert Lasker)
Interviewer: John T. Mason, Jr.
Date: April 5, 1967

Q:

Mrs. Lasker, I know you have a lot of things to catch up on today. First I think you'd like to say something about a very special party that you and Miss Johnson gave back on George Washington's Birthday?

I said, “What shall we do, give a party for her, you and me?” and she said, “Yes, let's.” So we gave it on the 22nd of February, 1967, and we took the precaution of asking people that both Lynda and I wanted.
