was supposed to play before the ceremony. We finally got up on a little tiny podium, and Mrs. Johnson made a speech, Udall made a speech and I made a speech, Mrs. Johnson touched a button, and suddenly a 250 foot jet bottom spray of about 100 feet wide, came into life at the end of Point. That's the picture. Now, this I hope will be known as the Johnson Jet. I It's the Point jet but it is sometimes referred to as the Johnson Jet.

Q:

Why couldn't it be the Lasker Jet?

Lasker:

No, no, it was given anonymously. I gave it but I gave it anonymously, through the committee. There's a bronze placque to honor the President and Mrs. Johnson for their efforts to make the environment of the United States more beautiful, or words to that effect.

Q:

That was a new role for you, wasn't it, giving a speech?

Lasker:

Yes, but that Isn't so bad if it's short enough and you've sot it written. I don't like to do it but I did it. that we went back to the White House and drank some wonderful kind of cinnamon tea or some kind of spice tea, delicious, and ate sandwiches and all talked to each other and had a very good time.
