No, Udall wasn't there. They had had some failings out. Wirtz wasn't there. Would you like to have the guest list of this party? Do you think it would be interesting?

Q:

Yes. It certainly was a unique party.

Lasker:

It was a unique party. Mayor Washington, Mrs. Washington, all the Johnson family, their two children came, many of their staff, and a great cross-section of New Yorkers, mainly people who had been interested in politics or connected with them in some way, were there. I think I'll try to get the list.

Q:

I think I retained the newspaper clipping with the photograph, in which you're included, in your Balenciaga, was it?

Lasker:

I don't remember. No, it was a blue dress with feathers from Dior. Very important matter:

The only dress that was a bit awful, it seemed to me, was the one that Lucy was wearing, Lucy Johnson.

Lasker:

You mean the highnecked dress?
