Yes, Rockefeller sponsored. In Central Park I gave an additional planting of 100,000 daffodils, I have planted a total of 300,000.
This is for next spring?
No, for last year. There were 200,000, and this spring another 100,000 nearer 59th Street.

yes, so that more people will be able to walk into the Park and see them, and I think that that really will make a marvelous showing this spring. I hope you'll go and see it.
I will indeed. I'll certainly plan to do that. Tell me how the display last year survived.
They survived very well. Unfortunately, there were some very early plantings and some quite late and the bloom didn't always all come at once. I'm now in favor of planting everything so the bloom hits all at one time, because that makes even a more thrilling show and people are more excited by it.
I planted a few hundred azaleas in the UN Park. Also I did sign a short article for McCALLS -- I did do an interview for
