Well, I was about to tell you that Mrs. Johnson wrote a book called THE WHITE HOUSE DIARY. I don't know whether you've read it or not, have you?
I haven't read it but I've read the reviews and I saw what she committed on you as an influence in her life.
I don't remember that.
Oh, that you were largely responsible for her education in the realm of art.
Oh. I didn't know she said something like that. I don't really think I was. But at any rate, I gave a sort of a bon voyage cocktail party for her before she went off for the publication of her book in London, by my friend George Weidenfeld whom I was Just speaking to on the phone. And after that I gave a party for the Gread Kemps, with a wide variety of people, on December 4th Everybody from a number of Europeans like Baron de Ride and Princess de Polignac to Anna Moffo our American soprana and who else? The Due are Duch Litters and Lauren Bacall and Danny Kaye and a great variety of people, Where everyone seemed to amuse each other very much.
Well, that's in very small outline form what we were doing. We are now going to publish a major fact book which we publish from time to time -- the fat one. It's coming out in January. And we did publish a section of it called, DOES MEDICAL RESEARCH PAY OFF IN LIVES
