consulted directly with the publisher, too. But when that incident arose, to the best of my recollection, he really didn't feel that there was any violation. The Administration felt differently and very strongly. I've forgotten what the precise incident was. This was a couple of years ago, during the Kennedy Administration, and they reacted very, very strongly, but it wasn't in a critical moment such as the missile crisis and it really didn't come up, as I recall, to the publisher until after the thing had been published. Then it came to the publisher's attention because the president brought it to his attention.
