They're going to stick with me. That's the enrolled party vote. I know I got them.

“I know I got to win some more votes before I can be Governor. I got to win some votes upstate. I got to win some votes in every county. I got to win some more votes in New York City. But I've got four hundred thousand votes that I'm sure of up to the Bronx line. That's what makes it possible for a man to go out and campaign freely, honorably and effectively. He isn't worrying about these people down behind him. They're going to stand still. They're going to be with him the day he begins and they're going to be with him the day he ends. So he can go freely and he can make his representations in other communities and in other parts of the state. He can say things upstate that are going to interest the upstate voters even though they might not interest the New York City voters. That's the New York City party. I tell you about that because they're right here. We count them and we know what they are. We got an enormous enrolled membership.

“Upstate I know how many votes I'm going to have without any trouble in Buffalo, in Rochester, in Syracuse, in Albany. I know just what we got. I know what we're going to have in the counties. Those we can count on so we know what the
