I can't remember all the people who were there, but on the whole everybody was there. Some, of course, had disappeared in the melee. The Greek Minister of Labor had disappeared, and he wasn't there--the man we had dealt with before.

I've told you about this occasion when the Hungarians sat behind us. Right behind us, behind our seats, were the Hungarians, and they wouldn't speak to us. We would go in and say, “Good morning. Good morning.”

Solemn bows, but no response. Well, they didn't speak English very well. They didn't speak French. And they were embarrassed--they'd never been out of their own country, most of them. We gave a dance in that old cafe at the foot of Boulevard St. Michel. You see, the meetings were all held at the Sorbonne, over on the Left Bank. At That cafe on the Boul' Mich--I don't know what's the name of it, can't remember now--we took the second floor. That was a designated restaurant. The delegates could go to that restaurant for lunch if they wished, rather than going back to the hotel.
