Literary exercise, n. (also litex, lit-ex, LitEx, or Lit Ex). Given at the beginning of each meeting by the Literary Exorcist, and critiqued by the Critic, the literary exercise typically takes the form of a short story or play, poetry, a personal essay, or suchlike. The LitEx is one of the defining pursuits for Philo qua literary society, and as such is to be accorded appropriately high esteem.
