Maneeza Dawood is a fourth year doctoral student working with Dr. Valerie Purdie Greenaway. Maneeza earned her B.A. in Psychology from Columbia University. Prior to beginning her doctorate, she spent three years as a study coordinator in the Division of Behavioral Medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center. She is broadly interested in culture and bioethics, discrimination, and interventions to protect against the negative effects of discrimination, with a particular focus on Muslims and Muslim identity.
