Synopsis
The film documents the events (1943-44) of the Second World War that led to the Soviet recapture of Right Bank Ukraine from the Germans. Scenes include: the crossing of the Dnipro River at Pereyaslav, Kremenchuk, and Vyshhorod; the Soviet recapture of Kyiv, L’viv, and the Ukrainian Carpathian mountain range.
