New York City Opera Project: Madama Butterfly

Three Selections for NYCO visits

New York City Opera will bring three of its singers, an accompanist, and Education Officer, to perform selections from Puccini's Madama Butterfly on October 7 and 8, 2002. Only two items will be performed in any one session. The schedule is as follows:

Monday October 7 : 12:00-12:45

2. Butterfly/Suzuki: Flower Duet ("Scuoti quella fronda"/Shake that cherry tree) [=Act II, track 12]

Monday October 7 : 1:10-1:55

1. Pinkerton: "Dovunque al mondo" (The whole world over) [=Act I, tracks 3-4]

Tuesday October 8: 1:10-1:55
