Biography

My name is Christian Kroer. I am an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and a member of the Data Science Institute at Columbia University. Prior to that I was a postdoc with the Economics and Computation team under Core Data Science at Facebook Research. I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where I was advised by Professor Tuomas Sandholm. I also worked extensively with Professor Fatma Kılınç-Karzan.

I am a winner of the 2016-2018 Facebook Fellowship in economics and computation. I was a runner-up in the 2017 INFORMS Computing Society Student Paper Competition.
