Ingredients: Note: it's important to use a chicken broth that tastes good by itself.

Put olive oil in the pot first, turn on the heat, then put noodles, stir them around until they're all coated with oil, add enough broth cover them, and then add the same amount again because the pasta soaks up a lot.

Add a few big fat garlic cloves cut in half. Add pepper and (if the broth is non-salt or low-salt), add salt to taste.

Bring to boil, then turn the heat down and simmer about 11 minutes until noodles are just right (firm, not crunchy, not mushy). You can discard the garlic cloves or keep them.

That's the whole recipe, the noodles are fat, chewy, and delicious by themselves or with other things (such as roasted red peppers).
