About Me

Hi Everyone! Grace here... I'm currently studying in NYC ( details below ). I was born in Banyuwangi, Indonesia, was raised back and forth between the US and Indonesia, and for the past several years have been back to the US for my undergraduate degree and a year of work from 2010-2015. I returned to Indonesia the summer of 2015 to get some teaching experience, and was privileged to teach at Dian Harapan School. I taught English for 7th and 10th graders. It was such a fun and unique experience, and I really enjoyed and found my passion for education during my time teaching. After my studies, I plan to return to Indonesia and hopefully contribute towards the development of education back home.

In my spare time, I enjoy trying out new restaurants, venturing out museums and events around NYC, watching Netflix, cooking, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy travelling. A favorite fun fact is that I have been to 5/6 Disneyland parks in the world, minus Japan, which I plan to visit in Summer 2017.

My life motto is Live Life to the Fullest. So I just try to enjoy the present and cherish every moment.
