  • Conducted analysis and coordinated inputs into a preliminary study of the impact of the Action for Peacekeeping initiative on peace operations in the field.
  • Supported internal planning for the restructuring of the peace and security pillar by drafting workstream agendas and developing policy implementation options.
  • Analyzed and consolidated lines of inquiry from thematic discussions in support of the MINUSCA independent strategic review, and coordinated the development of a long-term strategic planning timeline for MINUSCA.
  • Reviewed existing policy and doctrine and offered substantive inputs on a range of themes, including: the Authority, Command and Control policy; peace operation transition planning and coordination; the comprehensive performance assessment system for peacekeeping missions; an upcoming electoral needs assessment; and an internal note on sensitive regional political developments.

From July 2008 through Election Day, I was posted as a campaign field organizer in Coshocton and Holmes Counties, Ohio. I lived in New Philadelphia, OH, and Coshocton.

  • Recruited, trained, and coordinated over 150 volunteers.
  • Expanded the Obama campaign’s share of the vote in a rural area by 1.1 percentage points greater than the state increase over 2004.
