COMMENTARY: FOOTNOTES: 1 Baron Alphons von Rothschild, former piano pupil of S in the 1890s, and at this time his principal sponsor. He had previously paid 4,300.30 Marks, the publishing costs of Harmonielehre: see OJ 1/5, p.27, November 22, 1906; OJ 12/27, [1], November 26, 1906; CA 57, November 23?, 1906.
