Wir beehren uns, die beiliegende Karte der Lindauer‘schen Buchhandlung in München zu Ihrer Kenntnis zu bringen, in welcher angefragt wird, wer der Verfasser der ”Neuen musikalischen Theorien und Phantasien” ist. Wir bitten Sie, uns freundl. wissen zu lassen, ob wir in diesem Falle und auch für die Folge auf besondere Anfrage hier Ihren Namen nennen dürfen. Mit Ihrer gefl. Antwort erbitten wir uns die fragl. Karte zurück.

Dear Sir,

We have the honor of bringing to your attention the enclosed postcard from the Lindauer Bookdealership in Munich, in which is asked who the author of the New Musical Theories and Fantasies is. We ask you kindly to let us know whether in this and future cases, in response to this particular question, we may divulge your name. Please return the postcard in question with your answer.
