Handwritten letter from Cube to Schenker, dated February 7 1927

Duisburg, den 7.II.27.

Sehr verehrter Meister!

Duisburg, February 7, 1927

Most honoured master,

Many thanks for the card!1 In the meantime, my debut took place; enclosed is the review from the leading [Duisburg] newspaper. Following on from this, I have been given two new pupils. Business is beginning to pick up. In October I will probably be given a class in pedagogy2; I am already teaching theory. The attitude of the “administration” is increasingly pleasant: things are moving, and yet one remains unmoved oneself.

I now have all your writings and editions. In the “Yearbook” there were some good old familiar things!3

For today, cordial greetings to you and your wife

from your
