Handwritten letter from Schenker to Cube, dated February 15, 1927

Handwritten letter from Schenker to Cube, dated February 15, 1927

Dear Mr. von Cube,

I am returning the truly nice review.1 (You did not ask me, however, whether or not you want it back; I’m returning it, as you may possibly need it.)

I am sincerely delighted with all your successes: may they continue!

In the meantime, the English translation of my three- and four-voice counterpoint, prepared by Professor John Petrie Dunn (University of Edinburgh), has appeared.2 Yearbook 2 is under way.3

Best wishes and grettings from me and my wife.

Yours,
[ sign'd: ] Heinrich Schenker
