Was ich im Klavierunterricht bei Anfängern treibe, geht seither erheblich über das dort Gesagte hinaus.3

Dear Professor,1

Before I get to writing more properly, I want to thank you for your letters and the sending of the manuscript,2 which is very useful for me to have again.

What I do in piano instruction with beginners since that time goes considerably beyond what is said there.3
