Sehr verehrter Herr Doktor !

Honored Doctor,

I should be delighted if it were possible for you to meet me this evening, Wednesday, at 8 o’clock in Café Landmann (opposite the Hofburg Theatre).1 At any rate, I shall be there at 8 o’clock. Should you be unable to come, however, on account of the somewhat delayed communication,2 I beg you to have no scruples on that account.

With best wishes, and with kind regards,
Yours truly,
[ signed: ] Hertzka
