Wir sehen selbstverständlich die Gründe, die Sie zur Rückforderung der Manuskripte bestimmen, vollständig ein und werden Ihnen dieselben zuverlässig nach Erledigung der Korrekturen wieder zurücksenden.2

We do of course fully understand what prompts you to ask for the manuscripts back, and will be sure to return them to you after dealing with the corrections.2
