Sehr geehrter Herr Professor !

Antwortlich Ihrer geschätzten Zuschrift vom 28.d. danken wir Ihnen für Ihre freundliche Mitteilung bezüglich Prof. Röntgen1 und lassen diesem heute Ihre Bachausgabe U.E. 548 zugehen. Wir schreiben ihm auch in dem von Ihnen angegebenen Sinne.2

Was nun die Beilage der kleinen Berichtigung betrifft, so konnte diese in den zuerst bestellten Bänden nicht mehr aufgenommen werden, diese[?] werden [ smudged ] aber dem anderen Teil der Auflage beigefügt.

Was die Instrumentationstabelle betrifft, so hoffen wir, dass diese innerhalb 14 Tagen zur Herausgabe wird gelangen können.3

Dear Professor,

In response to your esteemed letter of the 28th inst, we thank you for your kind information regarding Prof. Röntgen,1 and are arranging for your [C.P.E.] Bach edition U.E. 548 to be dispatched to him today. We are also writing to him along the lines intimated by you.2

Now as regards the insertion of the small correction sheet [into Ornamentik ]: it was not possible to implement this for the first volumes to be ordered, but it will be inserted for the remainder of the edition.

As concerns the Instrumentation Table, we hope to release this within the next two weeks.3
