Euer Hochwolgeboren !

Revered Sir,

We are besieged with inquiries from retailers regarding publication of the second volume of HANDEL’s Organ Works, since orders for our volumes continue to come in. We are in the most embarrassing situation, since we still have not received the manuscript from you.1 We therefore ask you now please to let us have this by return, so that if at all possible the volume can be released among our new publications at Christmas.

In looking forward with confidence to your prompt attention to this matter, we remain

Most respectfully yours,
