Euer Hochwohlgeboren !

Dr. HEINRICH SCHENKER ,
V I E N N A
-----------------

Revered Sir,

Your esteemed written communication of the 25th inst1 to our Executive Director, Imperial Counsellor JOSEF WEINBERGER, has been passed on to us by the latter for answering. We note with great regret that you are being prevented by illness from working on the second volume of the Handel Organ Concertos.

Since this volume already appears in our catalogue, and has by now prompted a brisk stream of inquiries, we are obliged to ask you very kindly to inform us by what date it will be possible for you to complete this volume.

Having referred the further decision to our Committee, we will then inform you of the outcome.

With kind regards,
Yours truly,
