Meinen herzlichsten Dank für Ihren freundlichen Brief¹ und den wichtigen Mitteilungen bezüglich Akademie sowie der Beilage. Dass Sie sich wegen der Subskription noch besonders annehmen wollen, ist ungemein liebenswürdig von Ihnen. Ich sende Ihnen nachstehend die Liste der vorläufigen Subskribenten. Soeben habe ich das letzte Heft der “Cäcilia” bekommen mit der Besprechung des 3. Jahrbuches,¹⁰ rascher ^[handwritten:] als^ bei Dr. Einstein,¹¹ bei dem der Aufsatz seit März v.J. liegt. Den über Meisterhandschriften¹² habe {2} ich der “Musik” geschickt. In der letzten A.M.Z ist ein kurzer über Nottebohm.¹³ Also nochmals herzlichsten Dank und ergebenste Grüsse

I have just received the latest issue of Cäcilia with the review of the third Jahrbuch,¹⁰ ahead of Dr. Einstein,¹¹ who has had the essay since March of this year. The one on autographs¹² was submitted to Die Musik. In the last Allgemeine Musikzeitung a short one appears on Nottebohm.¹³ Once again, then, warmest thanks and most respectful greetings,

¹ The letter OJ 5/18, 17, undated by the sender and incorrectly dated by the recipient, would qualify by its content as this letter; but it was necessarily written later than November 27, 1932, the date of OJ 12/6, [17], to which it is clearly a reply. Moreover, it includes no indication of an enclosure. Either incorrect dating is present in one or more letters or the letter referenced here is missing.
